After perusing through James Carson’s blog for the daily decor feature, I came across these lovelies and had to post them on the blog. If you love yellow, this is for you.

I don’t think there’s really a way for you to go wrong with your flowers, but I did pick out a few pictures that seem to be whispering “early wedding.” Tulips, daisies, and sunflowers all seem to fit well with an earlier affair. Also, smaller centerpieces seem to be in order- no need for towering, or tall arrangements in the afternoon.

and creative ideas like using paper flowers, or fruit would be perfect!

Potted plants make great, easy centerpieces. You could add more color with ribbon, if you wanted, like these mason jar centerpieces- super simple, fresh, and cute.

Some other details that you could incorporate are program fans and parasols.

Hopefully, you’ve gotten a little inspiration for your early wedding with these posts. By tweaking your ideas just a little to really celebrate the daytime, I think your guest will leave talking about how special, unique, and clever your afternoon affair was.
