Wait anxiously for me to announce the winner on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. (that’s a week from today) Good Luck! These accessories have such a girly charm to them, and I happen to love it! The layering of sheer fabrics gives this light, elegant, flutter-away type of beauty. And of course, custom designs are available! From the Mollusa etsy shop:
ok, I definitely haven’t seen this done before, but I think I like it. These bridesmaids are wearing white pencil skirts with pink tops. I love the flower detail on the belts.
I’m going to give the bride a unique style award too because of her hair. How often these days do we see brides with simple, straight, styles? I think her hair and accessories are perfection.
All images courtesy of Rebekah Westover Photography. Check out her blog for more. Happy Monday everyone! I want to start the week with something good that I saw last week. I follow Millie Holloman Photography on twitter and last Friday, Millie had my attention for hours as she posted these tables one by one. Each one is great inspiration, especially for the bride that’s going for something a little easy-going, a little etsy-ish (handmade & unique). Photographers Millie and Amanda took these at the Orton Plantation in Winnabow, North Carolina. All designs were done by Jennifer of Salt Harbor Designs. ~table 1~

So after the last wedding I featured, I started thinking about bridesmaids in veils. Based on some of the responses I saw on Facebook, it seems a lot of people thought the idea was really cute, but weren’t sure if they would do it. Is there a happy medium? Look at these shots I found on the Amelia Lyon Photography blog. By the way, there are some GORGEOUS weddings and engagement sessions on this blog and for some reason…most of the people in the photos look like models…seriously-it’s full of beautiful people!
Do we love? Hate? I’m liking both of these! Okay, so here are some other options for your beautiful girls- and these make nice gifts too because you can definitely wear these again, maybe even with something casual. From Urban Outfitters: From Forever 21: From etsy (of course!):
from viemoderne and besomethingnew, respectively
and these are adorable, if you want to have your girls’ hair up: from Powder Blue Bijoux Any of these float your boat? What type of style do you envision for your girls? I stumbled upon the whichgoose etsy shop a few months ago, and was amazed at how uniquely beautiful the products were. The shop specializes in natural crowns, but also carries corsage pins, hair pins, and boutonnieres. Wouldn’t a flower girl be too cute with one of these crowns? Or coordinating hair pins for your BMs? And don’t get me started on the bouts- what a nice detour from the typical flower. If you’re having an outdoor celebration, I would stop by the whichgoose shop a.s.a.p. She does custom orders to match your colors too! |
