monotone color combinations for bridesmaids

It’s not often that you see bridesmaids carrying the same color flowers as their dress. Most brides, probably due to tradition, try to disperse their 2 or 3 wedding colors evenly through all the elements of the wedding. Dress one color- flowers the other color. I came across this photo a little while back and instantly noticed the purple on purple. It’s a somewhat forgotten approach that’s worth considering.

Wedding dresses by The Limited

Happy Friday! Today when I was going through my emails, I came across one from The Limited, advertising a sale. On their site, I found this beautiful wedding gown. I love it- especially for the price! Only $298.

Here’s the other one they have, but I think the first is my favorite. This one does have pockets though!

They also have bridesmaid dresses for around $100 and lots of elegant simple jewelry. Check it out!

Disney Wedding Dresses

Hey! So yesterday in my brand management class, my professor mentioned that Disney does wedding dresses. Apparently, this isn’t a new thing, but they did just partner up with Alfred Angelo for some new designs in September. Check out the vid below! There are dresses inspired by all your favorites- Arielle, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, and Tiana! Which one do you like the best?

a statement necklace for your wedding day

I saw this bride a few weeks ago and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the boldness of her jewelry! You don’t see many brides with big jewelry on their wedding day, but it’s becoming more and more popular. This couple looks awesome! Photos by the talented Aaron Shintaku.

p.s. she also makes luxury lingerie…nice!

by the way, that cute little dress from Friday’s post (see below) is a Claire Pettibone creation!
