I found my way to the 6 of Four Photography blog and found the cutest thing- a kindergarten wedding. Take a look. It’s random but worth the scroll down.
From 6 of Four: “Every year the Kindergarten class at Berry College’s Elementary School puts on a Kindergarten Wedding. They study a letter a week. For M they study marriage and have a wedding. It’s the highlight of the year and it’s exciting to have your name drawn as the bride and groom. They all learn about being friends to each other and loving one another. They take vows to be friends forever and it’s simply adorable and includes a first dance, cake and bouquet and garter toss. They stop at nothing, it’s just like a real wedding….only miniature. two of the bridesmaids
the groom and his men
The bride is walked down the aisle by her father and rings are exchanged in a promise to be friends forever.
followed by the first dance and cake cutting… From 6 of Four: “There was a lot of dancing, the kids could dance with their friends and parents. I love how this little girl looks so dreamy as she dances with her mom. All the while kids are dancing their hearts out around them, but she’s caught up in this world of wonder and love.” the bride about to throw her bouquet- such a beautiful picture…
You can see more from 6 of Four here.
Undoubtedly cute! Would you want your child to have the opportunity to participate in a kindergarten wedding to learn about marriage? I came across these yummies while preparing my next post for today- I just had to repost them on here! They’re so cute! Especially the “french fries.”
Yes- that’s a cupcake, with a brownie burger, and sugar cookie fries. Need I say more? These are from Bakerella. You can view the complete process and download templates for the paper products on the Bakerella blog here. These are to die for! More sweetness on the way… I never knew soap could be this cute. These precious soaps are from the sunbasilgarden etsy shop. Are the wedding related? Well, they could be. They could be wedding favors (maybe a little pricey for that depending on your budget…). But they would make the cutest gifts- maybe part of a “Pamper Yourself” gift basket for bridesmaids. I don’t know, but they’re so fun, I’d find a reason to buy them!
Java Latte Soap- a full robust flavor of fresh brewed coffee YUMMY!
This shop has so may more scents and designs- from root beer to carrot cake~ I love sunbasilgarden! |
