Christmas time wedding without the colors
I came across this fabulous birthday party on Caroline Tran’s blog today. It was a Lakers-themed party that took place around Christmas.
Carolyn of The Special Day magnificently tied in the feel of Christmas by using ornaments in the theme colors. LOVE IT! This is one of those simple ideas that I would have never thought of!
If you’re having a wedding during the Christmas season, but aren’t particularly fond of greens, reds, whites, and any combination of those colors- this might be a great solution for you. You definitely get the holiday feel, without compromising your color palette. 
Not a huge fan on the Lakers, forgive me, but this design is jawdropping. I love the high contrast of the rich purple hues against the complementing gold surroundings. Very regal, yet warming.

What a gorgeous party idea! I’ve been hanging christmas ornaments on fishing line for a while now and suspending them from the ceiling, but it seems like I’ve seen it everywhere this holiday season. I love the purple and gold too… so regal.
I simply love this,however i was thinking about using purple and silver instead of purple and gold.
